Lilly Pulitzer Perfumes

I've always been the type of person that if something comes in a set, I have to own the entire collection. I don't know why, I've always been this way. Sometimes it starts because I like the one so much I want them all. Sometimes I don't even know if I like it but I just buy the whole lot (this hasn't worked out so well sometimes but still, I don't learn.) When I was looking for a new Spring perfume I came across Lily Pulitzer's Wink. It had tons of good reviews and when I researched further I found she had two more in the collection, Beachy and Squeeze. I, of course, bought all three.

So far Wink is my favorite. It's scent profile is pink freesia, pear nectar, white lily, amber crystals, sensual musk, lush gardens, rose and violet fields. It smells floral but also like perfume. Yes, it's perfume, but so many perfumes smell like lotions; this smells like the perfume my grandma used to wear. It's what I consider "grown up" perfume.

Beachy is a close second.  The scent notes are citrus, watermelon, jasmine, frangipani, amber, vanilla, marine air accord, tiare flower and salt crystals. I hope that some of you are with me when I say I have no idea what some of those are! This scent is super refreshing. It doesn't smell like coconut, which is always my first instinct when I hear beach. Instead, it's salty smelling, but in a good way. Almost like a really nice sea salt spray. Think more sensual then sweet.

The last scent, Squeeze, I go back and forth with. Sometimes I think it's really nice, sometimes I feel like it smells like cleaner. The fragrance mix is pink grapefruit, lychee, lotus blossom, sun-drenched woods, water musk, red currant and wild rose. It does have a citrus scent to it, as expected, but it also has a really bitter undertone to it. I can't decide if I like it or if it's way too strong.

None of these perfumes are scents I typically go for as I love sweet smelling perfumes. However, I was pleasantly surprised that they smelled so good and super "grown up." I definitely feel like the first two will be in my rotation all through Spring and Summer.

Have you tried Lilly Pulitzer perfumes before? Which was your favorite?
