Getting Fit: Morning Yoga

As far as Yoga goes, I think you either love it or you really don't understand the hype. I am one of those people who are absolutely obsessed with Yoga. Besides being my exercise of choice for toning my body, I feel like mentally it helps me clear my mind and really gives me focus.
Lately I've found that I love to do Yoga in the morning when I first get up. It warms up my body for the day and puts me in a healthy mind frame right from the get go. It also helps me drink water first thing in the morning. Typically the first thing I reach for is coffee, but when you start your day sweating you tend to go for water, which is really the best thing you can do for your body.
As far as Yoga goes, there are so many different types of practices you can do. Often if I can't unwind from a long day, I like to do a relaxation yoga practice. When I have a little more time to work out, I like to do a full on intense yoga video. In the morning, I tend to do a morning practice yoga video that gives me enough energy without being so intense as to cause injury to my body before it's fully warmed up. The video I've been enjoying lately is this one below:
But I love to switch it up and try different videos depending on how I'm feeling. You'll notice the one above is only 30 minutes. That's because a) I really can't be bothered to work out for any longer period of time first thing in the morning and b) I get up super early as it is and it would be impossible for me to get up any earlier to do a longer video.
