Movie Date Night : San Andreas

So the hubby and I actually got to go on a date this weekend and it was so nice. We went and saw the movie San Andreas. I'll admit right now I don't really like movies about natural disasters. Maybe it's because they are a little too real or maybe it's because I'm a wimp, but whatever the reason, they usually don't make it to my must-see list. My hubby LOVES them, they are one of his top movie picks. That being said, this movie was actually really good. The story line wasn't exactly original (The Day After Tomorrow has a similar story line) but it had action and romance and a happy ending so really what more could you want? No, but really, it was good, I would definitely say go see it.

This was the first warm day we've had after weeks of rain so I busted out my tartan babydoll dress by Motel Rocks. I wish I would have remembered to get a picture of the back, it dips down lower and is super cute. This dress is just really easy to wear and super cute for date night!

I am loving my Ted Baker purse right now, the floral pattern make it perfect for this time of year and I'm trying to scale down the things I bring out with me, so this is the perfect size.

These are some of my favorite earrings from JewelMint. The crescent moon is so cute and adds just the right amount of sparkle.

These shoes are my life right now, they are so easy to wear and they are super cute and comfy.

I hope you guys had a great weekend; what movie(s) have you seen lately?

  2. I love your outfit, you look amazing! I recently saw Aloha. It was a bit slow at times but overall I really enjoyed it :) San Andreas didn't seem like my kind of movie either, but I may have to check it out now!
