Omni Green Labs Fiber Powder



I'm constantly trying to find meals that are healthy and filling but still quick and easy. I've never been one of those people who thought shakes constituted meals but as I find my life growing more and more hectic it's been an easy go-to and a lot healthier option than fast food. Even though I've given into substituting lunch for a shake, I still think it's important to get the necessary supplements for your body. Fiber is one area that I always seem to be lacking in and believe me, my body feels it. When I started doing shakes I looked into different options for supplements and was happy to see that fiber was something I could easily add into my shake without noticing any sort of taste or texture difference. One of the reasons I like Omni Green Labs Fiber Powder* is that it has one ingredient. Yep, one. Another thing I love is it contains 4g of fiber per tiny spoonful so you only need two spoons to get your daily recommended intake. I almost always add it into a shake but I've also had it in coffee and plain water. It dissolves easily and doesn't taste like anything so it's easy to add into almost any drink. It even says you can add it to food. I definitely feel like it's made a difference in how I feel physically; I'm a lot less bloated and that's always a good thing.

  1. A co worker of mine does shakes for lunch and she loves it. My concern has always been that I'll be starved to death by the time dinner rolls around, but sounds like it's been helping you a lot. Nice review! :)

    1. I definitely have to have a couple snacks in the afternoon not to starve! I find that because I have such long days I snack anyway, so it really benefitted me to have the lighter lunch. Thanks for stopping in beautiful, hope you hve a great day! XO -Kim

  2. Once work starts again next week (boo, hiss) I will have shake for breakfast and then I think I may start making a second that I can have for the afternoon when the cravings usually kick in. I have never thought of using Fiber as a supplement- have also used a protein one....

    1. That is also one thing I love about smoothies - totally cures my sugar cravings! I put a bit of protein in mine as well but find that too much can make me feel super bloated -- and the fiber totally balances that out so it's been a great mix for me! Thanks so much for stopping in! XO -Kim

  3. I love a good, filling shame in the mornings. And I love a lot of fiber in my diet so this is a win win!! I definitely need my afternoon snack too, usually nuts, but I love how these help you feel full! Happy Wednesday gorgeous!!

    1. I have always loved shakes but with the protien always thought they were almost TOO filling, if that makes sense. I never get enough fiber in my diet so this was such a great thing to add in to my smoothies and balance out that full feeling! I so wish I could love nuts more but I just can't hahaha. They are a great snack and I try to eat them but they aren't my favorite. I usually do carrots and hummus or something like that.   4. I love smoothis in the moring I normally have no time for anything else. But I use almonds for protien. But it always ends up gritty. Lol
