Makeup Revolution Euphoria Eyeshadow and Contour Palette

Does it seem like I'm a bit makeup crazy lately? I can honestly say I am, but it's not just lately. I always am, but I generally manage to temper it on the blog. Somehow my post schedule worked itself out so that I posted nothing but makeup this week, which is fine for me so I hope it's for you too! I've been eyeing this Makeup Revolution palette for a while and I decided with my last order to bite the bullet and get it. I wasn't too pleased with the last Makeup Revolution palette I reviewed, but I have to say they've redeemed themselves with this one. If you know anything about me by now, you know that I love a multi-use palette, so the fact that this has shadows and contour all in one was already a bonus.

The palette comes with 6 neutral eyeshadow colors with 2 mattes and 4 shimmers. The mattes make great transition shades and the shimmers are soft gorgeous shades with 1 darker shade for definition. Luckily, the shadows were all buttery and pigmented, like most Makeup Revolution palettes.

The star of the palette is definitely the contour colors, most specifically the blush. This trio is really reminiscent of the e.l.f. holiday contour kit from last year, in which I bought 3 because they were limited edition and I loved the blush that much. I know, I'm ridiculous. I'll probably be giving those away because I am on a serious purge and trying to really minimize my makeup at the moment. Anyhoo, if you got your hands on that palette you'd see this is an exact replica. However, the blush is also reminiscent of the Balm's Hot Mama (another fave) and Lancome's Blushing Tresor (yeah, I love that one too). Basically, I'm saying I have about 5 blushes in the same color (hence the purge), but really I love it. It's a super pretty coral pink with golden shimmer, great for everyday use. The bronze in the palette is more matte so it's nice to contour and I don't care what anyone says, Makeup Revolution do the best highlights in a palette ever. This one is no exception and you can use a couple of the shimmery shadows as highlights as well. Overall I'm really happy with the quality of this palette so I can safely say my last palette must have been a dud.

What's your favorite Makeup Revolution OR contour palette at the moment? XO
