Since we stayed in the city this weekend we decided to book one of our favorite hotels. The Anniversary Inn is right in the heart of downtown and it is literally a one of a kind treasure. It's a renovated relic and each room is designed to mimic a different theme. While semi-pricey, in our opinion it's totally worth it for the amazing customer service, breakfast delivered to your room door, freshly baked cookies in the lobby, complimentary apple cider and dessert, jetted tubs and all around experience. This time we chose to stay in the Wild West room as it was the featured room of the month. Each month the inn features one room at a cheaper rate for the entire month. The room had a saloon style feel to it, with old time-y posters adorning the walls, a saddle, western decor and the piece de resistance: the covered wagon bed. It was such a fun way to spend a weekend away from home. I hightly recommend it if you are in the Salt Lake area!

DeleteI will do! My task for tonight is make a short list of places. Have noticed that I'm swaying towards the rooms with hot tubs/spa baths, bliss! xx
DeleteIt definitely is so much more exciting than just staying in a regular hotel. Don't get me wrong, I love any opportunity to stay away from home, it feels like a full-on vacation, but this just pushes it over the top! Hahaha, so basically we need to start another project where we do a whole inn that's Disney themed. We'll incorporate rainbows and fairy gardens into it. Basically we are going to have a billion projects to do together because of all your amazing ideas :D Thanks so much my beautiful friend, always love hearing from you! Love and hugs XO -Kim

Hahaha! Can you imagine all the different themes you could come up with? How fun would it be to decorate a Harry Potter one? So good! Thanks for stopping in gorgeous! XO -Kim
DeleteThis looks awesome. I've always wanted to stay here but the price has kept me away but it looks like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteIf you ever come back this way, check their website! They always do a "room of the month" that's $99 for any day in that month. That's what we did with this room, so it makes it that much better! XO -Kim
DeleteThis hotel looks fabulous! It would definitely be right up my husband's alley as he loves anything to do with the "wild west". If you are ever in California there is the Madonna Inn that has crazy themed rooms. I did a blog on the hotel last year, but unfortunately I didn't get to stay in one of the rooms. It's on my bucket list though!
ReplyDeleteI am definitely going to need to check out the Madonna Inn. If you make it out there I definitely want to see a themed outfit post to the room, I know you would do something amazing like that! Really wish I would have worn a gingham shirt and some pigtails ;) Have a great weekend gorgeous girl! XO -Kim
