My Husband Dressed Me...For Date Night

This series is so fun for me to do because I love incorporating my hubs into my blog posts. These ones are super fun because he really gets into it! He had me try on several different tops and pairs of shoes and picked out all the accessories himself. Here's my date night outfit as styled by the hubs!

Again hubs surprised me with his pick. Not only because he put me in a tank top and it is Winter (he said our date would be indoors so I would be fine...couldn't really argue with that logic, I guess) but I didn't expect him to pick something this chic (no offense, hubs!) I love this little top with the jeweled peter pan collar and silver polka dots. He finished off the look with jeggings, strappy heels and a clutch. Yep, a clutch. Good pick hubs!

Love these earrings he chose because "They match the shirt." I love the little edge they add. They are, regrettably, from Jewelmint so no longer available.

This clutch is from Target last year and features little silver skulls. Hubs paired that with my swarovski skull bracelet I purchased off Ebay.

These strappy sandals are some of my favorites. Excuse my non-painted toe nails as I usually wouldn't wear sandals this time of year. They looked great with hubs' outfit though!

Hubs finished the outfit off with my black and gold watch. Overall, I think this is a really cute, classic outfit and something I'd definitely wear out... probably in the Summer.

Thanks to my hubs for helping pick my outfit and take my photos! What would you wear on a date night?

  2. What a cute idea! I can't imagine letting my husband pick out my outfit-haha I'd probably end up in a t-shirt and jeans. Him and I seem to have completely different taste when it comes to clothes. This outfit is super cute :)

You look brilliant in this , it' such a pretty outfit , I love it :) I'd pick something like this for myself even if he did make me giggle by telling you youd be perfectly warm because you're indoors haha <3 On date night ( because I'm apparently as aware of winter as your husnand ;) ) I like to wear my white skirt with roses on, black top and a red lipstick :)

  7. Once again, your husband did an amazing job! Your blouse with the Peter Pan collar is really cute. Plus, it seems like he has an eye for details with the watch and earrings. Perhaps next time if he could just add a sweater to keep you warm in winter, you'd be all set! I am seriously thinking about trying this sometime with my husband!

    1. It's one of my favorite blouses but I rarely wear it. I might now that he made me such a cute outfit out of it! Hahahaha, I know, the sleeveless thing in Winter really did make me chuckle! I really would love to see you do this with your husband, I am so curious as to what he would pick, especially because your closet is chock full of prints! XO -Kim
