Too Face Melted Kisses and Sweet Cheeks Holiday Set

I'm totally blaming this one on Chelsea over at Olive & Ivy. She did a post recently on Sephora Holiday Gift Sets and there was one I really couldn't pass up. I've tried a few Too Faced products and I've never been disappointed, so when I saw the Melted Kisses and Sweet Cheeks set I just had to have it. It comes with 3 deluxe size Melted Liquid lipsticks and 3 Love Flush blushes.

The packaging is super cute, and within the box each set comes in a smaller box so you could give each out separately or all 3 together. My favorite is that the box says, "None for you, all for me!" It's like it read my mind...But this would make a really great gift if you know someone that's beauty obsessed. The thing I love about sets like this is the makeup is so much more affordable to try than a full size would be, especially if you're unsure whether or not it's worth the price tag.

The melted lipsticks included in this set are (from left) Melted Nude, Melted Peony, and Melted Fig. They photograph way shinier than they actually appear. Once dry it leaves the lips with a pretty sheen of color. Honestly, I liked these but they didn't wow me. Since I already own the Makeup Revolution Lava Lips I was really interested to see how these would compare. I'd say that Makeup Revolution pretty much hit the formula nail on the head and at a fraction of the price, I would probably just stick to buying the Lava Lips over paying the price of the Too Faced Ones.

I've used Too Faced face products before and they are some of my favorites. These blushes did not disappoint. They are highly pigmented, super blendable and absolutely gorgeous. The shades were included to coordinate with the Melted Lipsticks and the shades are (from left) Love Hangover, Justify My Love and Your Love Is King. These sample sizes are roughly the same size as a single eyeshadow but being the blush collector that I am, these are probably more than I'll ever need, especially as a little goes a very long way. That being said, I loved these so much I would probably splurge on the full-size products should the need (or a different color!) crop up. The staying power on these is amazing, as they lasted ALL day (even with my super oily skin). I'm definitely impressed, these babies made trying the set definitely worth it!
